What is a Subwoofer?A subwoofer is a type of individual device in a loudspeaker that contributes to sound creation, has a cone-shaped diaphragm, and is usually used to produce mid and low frequency parts of a music signal.The first subwoofer was developed in 1960 to add bass response to home stereo systems.
